Welcome to Ventura County's Internet GIS Home Page! This page has several functions that we hope will be useful to you:

1. What's New? This page lists recent updates to the Ventura County GIS web site.

2. A portal to GIS Internet applications.

The Coastal Area Plan application provides access to thirteen environmental layers such as tsunami inundation zone, faults, landslides, etc. The Geopolitical Mapping application provides Congressional, Senatorial, State Assembly, and County Supervisorial boundaries along with roads and city boundaries.

3. An information source.

Links are provided to Ventura County cities and neighboring counties which have online GIS capabilities or data.

A link is provided to Ventura College, a valuable local resource for GIS education and certification programs.

4. A celebration of GIS!

We are doing great things in GIS at Ventura County. Look here to learn about new applications and exciting technologies, and get links to departmental GIS news. This site will continually be updated with new information.
